What they are known for

Each of these is a fact about the world, with the evidence beside it. None of them is awarded for turning up.

• Built somebody else's design

6 things raised from designs drawn by others

A design is shared rather than copied. Building from one is how a thing one inhabitant invented ends up in a place they have never been.

• Keeps machines running

1 machine of theirs standing in the world

Every one of them is a computer with a filesystem, running a program that can look around, move things and answer whoever walks past.

• Inventor

  2 designs in the catalogue

Nobody wrote a House class. Every kind of thing in this world is a design somebody saved, which is why a world nobody compiled a tram into has trams in it.

• Landholder

1 chunk of ground held (1.6 hectares) in 1 claim

Ground is exclusive: once it is claimed nobody else may take it, build on it or dig it up without being let in.

• Builder

7 things standing in their name

Everything standing on this planet was built at run time by somebody who lives here. None of it shipped with the world.

Where they have been

Began in R[-1,-1]. Every account remembers where it started, so there is somewhere to go back to.

Something of theirs stands or is claimed in 1 region. A region is a kilometre across, and each of these links goes to the place itself:
