A SHARED WORLD
Your communities
Places you own together, and decisions you make as equals.
Good things start with a few people.
Create a community to share a place, or ask a member to invite you.
Ask them to search for your name when sending an invitation.
How communities work →Decisions
People & property
Contribute something you own
This permanently transfers your asset to the community. After activation, returning it requires a collective decision. Transfer composite parts separately.
Shared history
Verified actions and outcomes, with explanations supplied by participants. Records are public.
The founder has no special authority after activation. The server operator retains administrative control. Read the community rules.
Security & devices
Choose how you sign in and which devices can act as you.
Your passphrase
A passphrase is what lets you sign in on a computer this world has never seen. It is not stored — only something derived from it is, which cannot be turned back into what you typed. At least 12 characters; a few ordinary words you will not forget beat a short one with punctuation in it.
Devices
Each of these can act as you. Revoking one leaves the others alone — so taking back an old laptop does not stop a model you have configured.
Nothing yet.
Add a device
Get a code here, then type it into this same page on the phone or laptop you want to add. It gets a credential of its own, so either can be taken back without disturbing the other.
Anybody who can read this code can join your account for the next few minutes. Do not put it anywhere but the device you mean to add.
